Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SafeCircle user application and the SafeCircle admin application (together, the "App"), developed and maintained by JD Tech Sage ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using SafeCircle, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use SafeCircle. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate profile and verification information — this is required for report accountability.

3. Submitting reports

When you submit a report through SafeCircle, you agree that:

• The information you provide is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You will provide the requested reporter verification details (name, contact number, email) for administrative review.
• Any evidence you upload is your own, or you have the right to share it.
• Reports are subject to admin review, and may be approved, rejected, or removed at our discretion.

Submitting knowingly false, defamatory, or malicious reports is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.

4. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use SafeCircle to:

• Submit false, misleading, harassing, defamatory, or malicious reports about a person or group.
• Post spam, unlawful, hateful, or abusive comments.
• Attempt to identify or expose a reporter's private information.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the App or its backend systems.

5. Review & moderation

All submitted reports go through admin review before publication. Administrators may approve, reject, or later remove a report or comment that violates these Terms, contains inaccurate information, is a duplicate, or is otherwise inappropriate. Moderation decisions are made at our reasonable discretion.

6. Intellectual property

The SafeCircle name, logo, design, and underlying software are the property of JD Tech Sage. Content you submit (reports, comments, images) remains yours, but by submitting it you grant us a license to store, display, and distribute it within the App as needed to operate the platform, including publishing approved reports without your identifying information.

7. Disclaimer

SafeCircle is a community reporting and information platform. Report content reflects submissions from individual users and reflects the admin review process described in our How it works section, but we do not guarantee the complete accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any report. SafeCircle is not a substitute for contacting emergency services or law enforcement in an emergency.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JD Tech Sage is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SafeCircle, including reliance on report content submitted by other users.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SafeCircle if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and request deletion of your account at any time — see our account & data deletion page.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SafeCircle after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
